Programme Introduction
The Master of Science in Data Science is a joint program offered by the School of Data Science and the School of Business and Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), in cooperation with the Shenzhen Institute of Big Data and the Shenzhen Finance Institute. Students learn cutting-edge theories and methods across many dimensions of big data technology, together with professional business analysis methods to solve challenging problems of big data collection, management and analysis. These skills are sought after in fields of digital technology, business, government, security, medical care, biology, natural sciences, and the environment. This flexible programme includes several options: industry internships, laboratory research, overseas exchanges, or additional advanced courses.
99% of the full-time master's students in 2024 graduated from 985/211 universities, and 1% from Double First-Class universities.
The enployment rate of full-time master's graduates in 2023 is 100%.
