Do I need to pay the application fee? Can I claim a refund if I was rejected?
You need to pay RMB 600 application fee via the online application system. The fee is nonrefundable.
What is the total tuition fee and when should I make the payment?
The tuition fee for the Master of Science in Data Science program is RMB 318,000 (for enrollment in 2026).
Applicants are required to pay the first installment of tuition (RMB 110,000) within approximately two weeks after accepting the admission offer, and the remaining tuition fee shall be paid in accordance with the guidelines specified in the admission letter.
Can I apply for scholarships?
Yes. The Programme offers Admission Scholarship, Academic Scholarship, Internship Abroad Scholarship, Contribution Scholarship and Merit Scholarship. Merit-based Admission Scholarships are granted based on the results of candidates’ undergraduate qualifications and accomplishments and the performance in written exam and interview. Merit-based Admission Scholarships are granted to qualified candidates who may receive tuition waiver up to 100%. Academic Scholarship will be awarded to students with outstanding academic performance. Other kinds of scholarships are application-based.
Does the tuition fee include textbook fee?
No, students will need to pay for their own books and other supplies.
Does the University provide accommodation?
The specific details shall be subject to the notice issued in the year of enrollment.
Due to the limited number of dormitory spaces in the school's colleges/halls, on-campus accommodation will only be provided to students when there are available vacancies.
You need to arrange off-campus accommodation by yourself and bear the related expenses (for enrollment in 2026).
