PART ONE -  Graduation Ceremony

On the morning of November 26, the 7th graduation ceremony of the postgraduate students of the CUHKSZ was held at the central avenue. The seats were space out and the attendees sat in alternate seats according to the pandemic prevention requirements. Professor Xu Yansheng, President of CUHKSZ, along with other university executives and representatives of professors from various faculties attended the graduation ceremony. Friends and relatives of graduates in different classrooms congratulated more than 900 graduate students for starting a new life journey. In addition, some family members and friends of the graduates who could not attend the ceremony on site and people from all walks of life shared the joyful moment by watching the ceremony online.

Make Your Own Path in the Big Time

"It may not be the best time for you to embark on a new journey, and the road ahead of you may not be full of flowers. As young people with courage and ambition, you should take your own steps with confidence. No matter the road under your feet is flat or muddy, leave your footprints deeply in the soil. Leave your own efforts in this big time, make your own voice, and find your own path."

"Never choose the easy path at this promising age. Life is full of challenge. It’s common to face with frustration, difficulties and failures. The more ambitious you are, the more you want to achieve, the more challenges you will encounter. Even a peaceful life can have a variety of troubles, conflicts and frustrations. A seemingly secure job, if you put your mind to it, will also be a thorny road full of challenges. We have to bravely face the challenges, do not waste those crises, disasters, difficulties as opportunities for us to grow. The world can be chaotic, our desks cannot be chaotic, and our hearts cannot be chaotic. The era we live in today does not lack wealth, luxury and comfort, but lack people with dreams. I hope you will always adhere to your original aspirations and never let yourselves down."

"The master programmes in CHKUSZ enjoys a flexible curriculum that allows students to find their passions. The University also provides us with many valuable opportunities to meet face-to-face with senior professionals from different industries, so that we can learn from them. At CUHKSZ, we are free to experiment, explore, and even make mistakes. The university has given us all kinds of resources and possibilities to follow what interests us at will. During my university days, I have worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant, participated in international case competitions, worked in multinational companies and government agencies, founded and managed student clubs, and even tried at entrepreneurship. All my experiences in college have made me realize that every effort and attempt are valuable in life."
